Tricia talks to Jason about how he has integrated GenAI into his teaching of English and Applied Media at Berkeley College and his tips for others in doing the same and for responding to student mistakes when they overuse GenAI and shortcut their own learning. (We might also touch upon the invasive nature of GenAI in the form of Grammarly and Meta Glasses and how the increasing embededness of GenAI will impact learning and cognition unless students can develop a sense of agency over their own personal and professional development).

You can follow Jason and learn more about his work on LinkedIn as well as at https://higherai.substack.com/.

Jason is the author of Artificial Intelligence, Real Literacy: A Practical Guide to Using AI for 10 Evidence-Based Literacy Practices in Education (https://www.amazon.com/Artificial-Int...)
